Welcome to the web site of Rockford Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota!

We are a small but mighty group (24 members) of musicians who are active in many areas of Rockford’s musical life. Our members are teachers at every level of music education, both public and private. We also participate in programs of the Mendlessohn Performing Arts Center, Svea Soner Swedish Chorus, Rockford Flute Club, Rockford Music Academy and Rock Valley College Community Band and Orchestra.

We have a monthly a meeting with a musicale provided by members. All meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted. We are anticipating a very busy 2011! Guests are very welcome. Please contact President Cheryl Hochstetler with any questions.
